Roddy Hunter, Scotland.

Site specific performance. Roddy slowly, very slowly was sliding down and rolling up the staircase that led to the room where other performances were taking place. His eyes were covered with pieces of sticking plaster. Huge nails served as an auxiliary device. With his disturbing presence on the staircase, the artist put the audience in quite uncomfortable situation. Furthermore, the artist put together the name of the site – former restaurant Europa - and current political changes in Europe thus enhancing the performance with an up-to-date call. The cross, a symbol of care, protection and emergency, that was formed form the sticking plasters previously removed from artist’s eyes remained in the entrance to the Europa.

Performance specyfiki miejsca i miejscu dedykowany. Roddy powoli, b.powoli, przez cały czas trwania programu dziennego imprezy przetaczał się w górę i w dół schodów prowadzących do sali w której odbywały się inne performance. Oczy miał zaklejone plastrem. Dodatkowym rekwizytem były wielkie gwoździe. Swoją obecnością stawiał w pewnej niekomfortowej sytuacji widzów; zakłócał zwyczajową rzeczywistość, wyrywał nas z rutyny. Także i ten performance miał przesłanie aktualne - artysta skojarzył nazwę miejsca Interakcji - d.restauracja Europa z dokonującym się właśnie w Europie procesem politycznym. Z zakrywających oczy plastrów arysta ułożył krzyż równoramienny - symbol troski, pomocy, opieki, stanu wyjątkowego. Symbol pozostał w wejściu do Europy.
